With over 25 years of experience in wealth management, Julianne Lepo, CDFA®, is the CEO of Turning Tides Financial LLC. As a financial coach and advisor, Julianne takes a personalized, multi-faceted approach in helping individuals navigate the many financial challenges that come with life’s major transitions, such as divorce, retirement, or loss of a spouse. Julianne has worked with hundreds of individuals on all areas of financial planning, with a focus on helping others feel financially aware and empowered to make smart choices that result in financial clarity and stability.

Concentrating much of her practice on divorce financial planning, Julianne firmly believes that an emotional crisis does not need to be a financial crisis. After personally experiencing the financial and emotional burdens of divorce from a 20-year marriage, Julianne is especially empathetic to others going through similar struggles. She often collaborates with other divorce professionals on behalf of her clients, working closely with attorneys and mediators on providing financial analysis, investment strategies, and personal financial management.

I have been a lifelong resident of Western New York.  After graduating Magna Cum Laude from Canisius College, and being admitted into the Jesuit Honor Society Office of Alpha Sigma Nu, I obtained my legal degree from the University of North Carolina at Chapel Hill Law School and was admitted to the New York State Bar in 1988.  The exclusive focus of my practice is Family Law and Matrimonial Law.  I was trained in Matrimonial Mediation in 1996 and in the Collaborative Process in 2009.  I am a member of the Erie County and New York State Bar Associations, Family Law Sections.  I am a panel attorney for the Erie County Indigent Prisoner Society, Family Law Section, and also a panel attorney for the Attorney for the Child program.
